The pumps are cast iron and steel, and all of the fittings are brass.
The visible gas pumps were restored and assembled with precision in order to ensure the highest quality possible. Each pump is dismantled, guts removed to reduce weight, and to eliminate odours and leaks. The parts that are too damaged to use, such as the hose, glass, and globe lenses, are replaced with the highest quality parts available. The parts are sandblasted inside and out, the steel and cast iron parts are baked in order to vaporize any oils or impurities remaining in the metal, phosphate washed, then the parts are high gloss coated INSIDE AND OUT with a polymer powder coating. This HIGH GLOSS COATING is guaranteed to NEVER PEEL, CRACK, OR FADE. During assembly, a very fine screen is added to keep insects out of the glass cylinder.

Pick up your pump in Dundas Ontario. I’ll load your pump in your pickup or utility trailer onto thick foam rubber cushions, then strap it down with ratchet straps so that NO damage of any kind can occur during transport. Bring blankets, straps and cushions if you have them, otherwise I will supply them for you.
When you come to Canada, just tell Canada Customs officer exactly what you’re doing and you’ll be welcomed into Canada. Bringing any amount of cash across the border is very common and perfectly legal, but you need to declare any amount over $10,000 Canadian ($7500 U.S.) and bring your bank deposit slip with your money in case Customs wants proof that any large sum was obtained legally. When crossing back into the U.S.A., tell U.S. Customs officer, "I bought a U.S. made antique pump,” and you won’t be charged any duty or tax. None of my American customers ever paid tax or duty, even when FOUR pumps were taken home.
