Three days, two nights of reconnecting with yourself and nature in the hills of wild, wonderful West Virginia. Practice yoga outdoors, hike the hills, make new friends, eat well, rest well, and let the chains of technology fall away! Enjoy a peaceful retreat environment close to home - we're about an hour from Harrisonburg or Staunton (in nearby Pendleton County), or about 3 1/2 hours from the DC or Richmond VA areas.
During the long weekend, we will offer four yoga practices and two “around the fire pit” discussions of yoga and meditation benefits, with the talented Hope Helton-Lynch. Hope is an experienced instructor registered with Yoga Alliance at the highest teaching level: After completing the 500 hour teacher training (E-RYT 500) in 2006 and Advanced Vinyasa Training in 2011, Hope opened her own studio, Yoga One, in Old Towne Petersburg. She teaches yoga at the studio and greater Richmond VA area, and offers life coaching services full-time. Hope's teaching style is a type of fusion practice that’s rooted in ancient yoga philosophy with a vinyasa style physical practice.
To complement the yoga practices, there will be a guided tour on nature trails in the surrounding hills, a body scrub workshop, a DIY juice cleansing with breakfast on Sunday, wine and cider tasting, and massage therapy available by appointment for an additional fee.
Packages start at $256 for the weekend, and include lodging, all food, all drinks, yoga and extras mentioned above. Please contact me for more info - spaces are limited!
